In the early days, there were probably between 800-1000 patients being cared for at the hospital. Initially there was no x-ray equipment. Naturally this made fixing broken bones a challenge. They finally secured an x-ray machine and computer with software to store the digital images. Technology at its best-no way to develop film in Jimani. The pharmacy was well stocked with medications. The hospital even had a pharmacist to keep it organized.
